Earthsuit was the short-passing New Orleans-based Contemporary Christian Music band in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Earthsuit consisted of guitar player Dave Rumsey, keyboardist/vocalist Paul Meany, bassist Roy Mitchell, drummer David "Hutch" Hutchison, & vocalizer Adam LaClave. Extra musicians involved Adam "Admo" Wirdzek & Darren King, world health organizatiin each filled within on drums fallowing Hutch left a class action.
Music
Earthsuit sole experienced a single official release: Kaleidoscope Superior (2000). A album's Decade tracks managed to briefly benefit a few recognition. Just trine more CDs are known. Both demonstration EPs contained early versions of occasionally of Kaleidoscope Superior's songs, the select few unreleased songs, & a survive medley including a cover of "Killing Me Softly". A more Video is The Rise of Modern Simulation which was freed a select few period within 2003 after the band experienced already broken higher. It was available for a short period to become purchased directly from either the band's web site. This collection features 5 original studio songs, besides when Xi bonus tracks including the survive remix of The Kaleidoscope Superior track Against a Grain & recitation of a few of their concert poop (like a Said a Sun To the Shine Kraftwerk medley, an outro medley, & the handle of the Talking Heads' "Once in a Lifetime"). It when well features many concert training videos, available as additional content for the computer.
A band broke higher fallowing constant itinerant across 2001. Paul Meany formed the fresh band per title of Mutemath, who have a debut EP out currently. Adam LaClave besides formed the fresh band, MACROSICK, who stand freed the demonstration Video fitly coroneted demodisk.
Earthsuit seemed to st& genuinely appreciated music, & created music by using an original compositional and arrangement style. It drew from either Rapcore (they typically utilized the melodic chorus/rap verse pattern), funk, New Orleans Jazz, and sampling. Reggae is an obvious influence from either either a percussive rhythmic approach, too from the vocal style. This unique blend was virtually lacking elsewhere.
Message
Earthsuit, as a Christian band, tried to communicate a Christian message to their audience. Their lyrics typically contained complicated metaphors, which made the two interesting from either an artistic point of look at.
Trivia
Even a exclusively instance Earthsuit's music was heard in any kinda major network get on MTV/WWE's Tough Enough. The brief implemental part of "Said the Sun to the Shine" was heard when you took episode #3, "Triple H Makes An Impact", which foremost aired July 5, 2001.
